The Vashta's bowl’s surface is sanded to ensure natural rust forms over time. The legs are hand-finished using the highest quality stainless steel.
The Vashta is very durable and will last many years. The carbon steel used in manufacturing this fire pit will develop a nice patina over time.
The bowl is made from solid rusting (carbon) steel and it arrives looking very shiny, almost chrome-like. It will rust once exposed to water. Usually this natural process takes a couple of weeks to a couple of months. It can be removed for cleaning.
